Ease of Doing Business Workshop

An informative Workshop was organized by MCGM on 22nd February 2018 at MMRDA Auditorium for Ease of Doing Business (Construction Permits).
Shri Ajoy Mehta, Municipal Commissioner of MCGM along with Shri Durga Shanker Mishra (I.A.S.), Secretary of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Shri Shiv Das Meena (I.A.S.), Joint Secretary (AMRUT), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs chaired the Workshop.

Shri Ajoy Mehta addressed the members present about the processes that MCGM is about to implement and had taken the views on pointwise processes from the Developers/Architects.

The processes were discussed in detail and the suggestions given by the Developers/Architects were taken up positively. Shri Ajoy Mehta assured the members that he will look into it and re-verify with the MCGM Officers before it gets implemented.

Shri Ajoy Mehta invited the Members (Developers/Architect) to be a part of the committee comprising 3-4 persons who would review the process for positive output. 

Shri Durga Shankar Mishra (I.A.S.) Secretary of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affair also had taken up the Environmental issues raised by the members positively. 

Shri Mishra also advised the members to give their genuine feedback to the World Bank surveyors, which is likely to be held in the month of May.
