MPL 4 began with a grand Launch party, Miss Diva  2015 (runners up), Natasha Assadi chief guest at the prelaunch

Embarked on a drive to promote the message of fitness and teamwork among its members the CREDAI - MCHI cricket stepped into its fourth edition – The MPL 4 in a grand prelaunch party at Emerald club.

The prelaunch party was graced by the presence of Shri Dharmesh Jain, President, CREDAI - MCHI, Shri Rajnibhai Ajmera – CMD Ajmera group, Shri Gopal Kabra, CMD of RR Kabel who is also the main sponsor of the event, and Ms. Ankita Karir from Times Group, Former Cricketer and Coach Shri Pradeep Sundarem and Shri Rishikesh Rassay – Head West region Roof and Floor.com. Shri Shailesh Sanghvi – Sports convener , Shri Bandish Ajmera & Shri Jitendra Jain   – Managing Committee members of  CREDAI - MCHI,  amongst others.   The tournament was declared open after unveiling the MPL-4 Championship Trophy.

MPL 4 matches were played from 23rd to 29th January at the Police Gymkhana ground, Marine drive. The day night tournament boasted of teams from HBS Realtors , Nirmal lifestyle ,Rustomjee , Sethia infrastructure , CREDAI - MCHI Mumbai, CREDAI - MCHI Thane unit, CREDAI - MCHI  Raigad unit and CREDAI-MCHI  Kalyan Dombivali unit.  The finale match was played on 29th January. Like every year,the MCHI team has partnered with renowed NGO Mumbai Mobile Creche  for the MPL 4  -CSR Tournament for construction workers children played on 29th January, 2017.

MPL has grown from strength to strength and has gained great popularity among members who turn up in great numbers to cheer the teams”

CREDAI-MCHI Managing committee member and Sports convener Shri Shailesh Sanghvi expressed, “The past three successful editions have given us many magical moments to be cherished forever in our memories. This continuous success proves that WE ARE ONE FAMILY, Our interests are one, our will to stand undisturbed against all storms in the industry is one. We are fighters and that is what the tournament teaches us - Team up and fight for victory.”

CREDAI - MCHI donated Rs.2,01,000/- to NGO Mumbai mobile creche

The fourth edition of MCHI Premier league - The MPL 4 trophy was bagged by CREDAI - MCHI’s Raigad unit . The Raigad units chased a challenge of 116 runs and ended up with a nail biting finish, defeating Nirmal lifestyle by 1 wicket in the mega finals. The concluding ceremony of the T20 tournament and the CSR Matches was graced by the presence of Actress & Choreographer Amrita Joshi , Mrs. Manjuben Mangal Prabhat Lodha,  Gopal Kabra CMD of RR Kabel who is also the main sponsor of the event ,Shailesh Sanghvi – Managing committee members & Sports convener CREDAI - MCHI, Nayan Bheda & Jitendra Jain   – Managing committee members CREDAI - MCHI,Radeka Patiil – Vice president HBS Realtors,  Mrs. Usha Manot and Mrs. Mamta Shailesh Sanghvi

The CSR tournament which is an integral part of MCHI Cricket was played by children of construction workers on the same ground. The kids were joyfully engaged in competing with each other and exploring their hidden talent in sports. MCHI donated a sum of Rs.2,01,000/- to the NGO Mumbai mobile crèche. The tournament also organized exhibition matches with Times of India (media partner) and BMC Fire officers.
