MoU Update on Affordable Housing

Update of MOU which was signed during Make in India summit between CREDAI-MCHI & Govt. of Maharashtra. Through this MOU,CREDAI-MCHI had proposed to construct 5.69 lakh affordable homes in MMR area without any extra benefits from the Government.

CREDAI- MCHI CEO Shri S.S.Hussain along with Shri Avadhoot Rane, General Manager and Shri Sanjiv Chaudhary, Head – Research met Shri Vijay Singhal (IAS) Development Commissioner of Industries along with KPMG personnel appointed by Industry Department on January 9, 2016.

Shri Hussain gave him the entire brief about the creation of and the current status of the MOU on Affordable Housing. Development Commissioner was very curious to know the macro details of the MOU which were explained to him by CEO. 

Shri Sanjiv Chaudhary later gave him the details of major pain areas being currently faced by the industry in their ongoing projects.

Shri Singhal requested to CEO to give a fresh letter to him along with description of pain areas which he will take up to the Chief Secretary & Hon'ble Chief Minister's level for further discussion.

A review meeting was held with Shri Prabhat Rahangadale, Director of Maharashtra Fire Services , & CFO of MCGM to discuss the further strategy on streamlining CFO building  approval procedures on Januray 12, 2017.
