CREDAI –MCHI organized “Workshop on DCPR – 2034” at Y.B. Chavan Auditorium on May 23, 2018 which was attended by 600+ audience, venue packed to the full capacity comprising of developers, architects, town-planners and other industry professionals. The workshop witnessed impressive lineup of officials from Government of Maharashtra, MCGM, Town – Planning department and other important departments. Our Managing Committee members represented by Mr Mayur Shah, President, Mr Nayan Shah, President - Elect, Mr Rajni Ajmera, Past President, Mr Vyomesh Shah, Past President, Mr Harish Patel, Mr Boman Irani, Mr Nainesh Shah, Vice – Presidents, Mr Domnic Romell, Secretary, Mr Munish Doshi, Mr Partik Patel and Mr Dhaval Ajmera, Coordinators for the workshop.
The Chief – Guest for the occasion was Mr. N.R. Shende, Director, Town – Planning, in his address said that your suggestions on Development Plan (DP) are welcome, which should be submitted within stipulated time.
In his inaugural address, Mr Mayur Shah, President, CREDAI-MCHI said: It is imperative to do threadbare analysis of the Draft – DCPR as it will lay the blue-print for real-estate industry to do business. He also appreciated the shift in focus from “Control” to “Promotion” and expressed the need to reduce premiums for making redevelopment viable and affordable, thus creating additional housing supply.

After every speaker’s presentation, the floor was open to the audience for Q & A, where many pertinent points were made & relevant questions were raised by the audience.

All dignitaries, speakers and Guests of Honour were felicitated by CREDAI – MCHI Managing Committee members by Green Certificates. The workshop turned out to be highly successful which was successful in providing broad guidelines to the suggestions to be made in the DCPR – 2034 by CREDAI – MCHI.
