Meetings with Shri Pravin Darade (I.A.S.) Secretary to Hon'ble Chief Minister 5 Lakhs Affordable Housing units

Shri Dharmesh Jain, President mentioned that Shri Nayan Shah, Vice President has done a great job with regard to preparations of 5 Lakhs homes. He has made creative and detailed representations which contain an overall infrastructure projects in MMR Area along with 8 different Planning Authorities. Chamber has already submitted the said representations to the CMO. Shri Dharmesh Jain also informed that CMO sent the DO letters to concerned Secretaries, Chief of ULBs and Settlement Commissioner to create a special desk to monitor all the pending issues which are in process.

The Special Desk will also take the review of these issues and will try to expedite it at the earliest within time frame. The special desk at Mantralaya level will be setup at CMO. This desk will have Deputy Secretaries of concerned departments, who, as Nodal Officers will monitor the pending issues of their respective departments and they will report to Shri Rajesh Narvekar, Deputy Secretary to Hon'ble Chief Minister who is Head of this Special Desk. Chamber also sent the draft MoU on affordable housing for finalization to Shri Darade. CMO will work on the same to make new MoU with CREDAI-MCHI for Affordable Housing.
