Meeting with Dr.Nitin Kareer (IAS), Principal Secretary – UDD I |
A very fruitful meeting was convened with Dr. Nitin Kareer, PS of UDD1 where very positive discussions were held between our Committee members and Dr. Kareer at Mantralaya. Dr.Kareer has taken up all the points positively raised by the Committee Members. He also assured the members that he will look into all the agenda points related to UD to expedite the same. The meeting was attended by Shri Dharmesh Jain (President), Shri Nainesh Shah (Hon. Secretary), Shri Vyomesh Shah (Imm. Past President), Shri Deepak Goradia (Vice President), Shri Domnic Romell (Co-ordinator), Shri S. S. Hussain (CEO) and Shri Avadhoot Rane (General Manager). |

Conference with Wadia Ghandy & Co. On Dumping Ground matter |
| A Conference held was held with Wadia Ghandy & Co on 26th August 2016 where it was decided that the review application will be filled in the second week of September 2016. A draft of the review application is requested from them which is to be finalized by Advocate Shri Girish Godbole and Advocate Shri Vinit Naik. SLP has been disposed of on 17th August 2016 with the direction to approach High Court for the filing of the review application and for the impleading MCHI as a party. | |

Petition filed |
| A Petition has been filed challenging on obtaining the prior consent under Water and Air Pollution Act. On the last occasion the Court has directed Union of India through Ministry of Environment to be added as a party accordingly the amendment has to be carried out. In the Delhi High Court Order, Union of India, through Ministry of Environment is to be made as a party, this was informed by Shri Nainesh Shah, Hon. Secretary. Accordingly an application has been filed and is in process. As a part of action in the matter, the said formalities for impleading Union of India through Ministry of Environment, as a respondent party have been done. | |

Meeting with Shri Satish Gavai (IAS), Principal Secretary – Environment |
A fruitful meeting was held with Shri Satish Gavai, Principal Secretary - Environment on 23rd August 2016 at J. J. School of Arts which was attended by Shri Vyomesh Shah – Immediate Past President, Shri Mayur Shah - President - Elect, Navin Makhija – Invitee Member, Shri S. S. Hussain – CEO and Shri Avadhoot Rane – General Manager. During the meeting Shri Gavai and Shri R. C. Joshi, Chairman for SEIAA Committee along with Principal Shri Rajiv Mishra of J. J. School of Architecture assured CREDAI-MCHI members that they will look into the matter positively to clear the pending proposals and ensure smooth functioning of the SEIAA Committee. |

| A representation letter to Shri Ajoy Mehta (I.A.S.) Municipal Commissioner - MCGM from CREDAI-MCHI was prepared and handed over in which it was proposed that the Parking Rates upto 1 hour – Rs. 40, upto 4 hours – Rs. 125 and for full day – Rs. 200 could be considered as uniform rates in entire Mumbai City and Suburbs. | |
