SGNP: Final Notification from Centre awaited

Shri Dharmesh Jain, President CREDAI-MCHI, enlightened all on SGNP Notification, that the final notification is still awaited from Centre.  Shri Avadhoot Rane, General Manager updated that the Chamber is doing a constant follow up with Shri Arvind Apte, OSD to the Forest Department.  CEO Shri S. S. Hussain is in constant touch with Forest Secretary, Shri Vikas Kharage, who has promised that he has been following up with the concerned Field Officer. Nagpur - CCF office is in the process to send his remarks to Mantralaya. CEO is also in touch with Shri Bhagwan, CCF, Wild Life, who was preparing the map of the area to be finalized with his remark. Our concern was outlined to him during the discussions about the boundary as well as DP plan area around Sanjay Gandhi National Park, in connection with the Eco Sensitive Zone. The department is waiting for the remarks on the notes of the notification from SGNP office and CCF Nagpur office. After receiving the remarks, the Forest Department will compile the contents in a final report and the same will be sent for Hon’ble Chief Minister’s approval, after which, it will be sent to the MoEF.
