A meeting was held with Shri Vikas Kharge (IAS), Secretary (Forest) on important draft notification of SGNP and is likely to be finalized in next two months by MOEF. Shri Dharmesh Jain, President informed the committee about the said meeting. Shri S. S. Hussain, CEO also informed the Committee that he spoke to Secretary (Forest) to expedite this matter as soon as possible. ShriAvadhoot Rane, General Manager will be Co-coordinating with Forest officials to get the draft note which will be sent to MoEF from the Forest Department. Thane forest officials as well as Nagpur Forest Officials will submit their views / remarks on the same to the Government. After compiling all reports Forest Secretary will take final approval of Hon’ble Chief Minister and will send to MoEF, Government of India.
