OBJECTIVES

CREDAI-MCHI is a multipurpose organization where our objectives are multi fold.

  • To collect and disburse useful information, knowledge pertaining to the building industry amongst members, public and the Government.
  • To encourage research and development in the building industry by collecting data organizing conferences, exhibitions, film shows, Awareness campaign, establish library etc.
  • To promote science / new technology in the building industry and for that purpose print, issue and circulate papers, periodicals, books and other literatures.
  • Promote greater interaction, co-operation between fraternal bodies where there’s a commonality of interests.
  • To promote and foster feelings of unity and cooperation and mutual help and to eliminate unhealthy competition and unfair trade practices among its members.
  • To protect and encourage trade practices, industry and provision of construction works and all other ancillary and allied trades and industries.
  • Contribute more towards industry needs in bodies like CII, FICCI and ASSOCHAM, so that the views of CREDAI-MCHI President and Office-Bearers are sought and referred in any representation to government.
  • Increase CREDAI-MCHI’s visibility in the State and across India.
  • To develop a common platform of interest connected with construction industry for supporting or opposing such of the legislations affecting the interests of construction industry and take constructive action.
  • Taking up various policy issues with the local bodies, State Government and Central Government on issues relating to and affecting the housing industry.

1. Advocacy and Representation:

  • To represent the interests of real estate developers at Mumbai, MMR at state and National level.
  • To advocate for favorable policies, regulations, guidelines and legislation that benefit the real estate sector, housing sector and home/property buyers.

2. Networking and Collaboration:

  • To facilitate networking opportunities among members to share knowledge, best practices, and opportunities.
  • To foster collaboration and partnerships within the sector as well as well as with the Banks & financial institutes.
  • To promote the development projects contributes positively to local areas and improve the overall quality of life.

3. Professional Development:

  • To provide training, workshops, and seminars to enhance the skills and knowledge of members.
  • To promote ethical standards and best practices in real estate development.
  • To create awareness on the compliances, guidelines that are mandatory to the sector.
  • To promote fair practices and transparency in real estate transactions to protect the interests of home buyers.

4. Market Research and Information:

  • To conduct and disseminate market research, sector reports, and economic analyses relevant to real estate development.
  • To provide members with information on market trends, property values, and regulatory changes.

5. Standards and Innovation of the Sector:

  • To promote the adoption of standards of the sector and innovative practices in construction, design, and sustainability.
  • To encourage the use of new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality in real estate projects.
  • To create awareness among developer members to become MahaRERA compliant.

6. Corporate Social Responsibility:

  • To promote social responsibility and sustainable development practices among real estate developers.
  • To undertake initiatives for the betterment of the workers/laborers at the construction sites.

7. Public Awareness and Education:

  • To increase public awareness about the role and contributions of real estate developers to economic growth and community development.
  • To educate the public and stakeholders about the benefits and challenges of real estate development.
