MCHI Premier League

The CREDAI-MCHI Premier League (MPL) is more than just a cricket tournament; it’s a celebration of community spirit and a testament to our commitment to social responsibility. Organized by CREDAI-MCHI and under the direct and able supervision of Mr. Shailesh Sanghavi, the MPL is a unique CSR initiative aimed at supporting the welfare of children of laborers and the underprivileged. Over the past ten years, this league has grown into a highly anticipated event, uniting real estate developers, bureaucrats, advocates, and various bodies through the love of cricket, both in India and internationally.

A Decade of Dedication

Since its inception, the MPL has successfully completed ten editions, with matches played both in India and Dubai. This journey has been marked by immense enthusiasm and support from all participants and stakeholders. The latest,  10th edition of MPL, celebrated with a prelaunch party on 20th February 2024 at the JIO World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai, was a historic milestone. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests including Actress Ms. Mansi Taksak, CREDAI-MCHI President Mr. Domnic Romell, Hon. Secretary Mr. Dhaval Ajmera, and other prominent figures from the real estate sector.

The Grand Finale in Dubai

For the first time in the history of CREDAI-MCHI Cricket, the MPL finals were held on an international ground. The grand finals took place in Dubai from 7th to 10th March 2024, marking a significant expansion for MPL. The league matches and semifinals were scheduled from 23rd to 25th February 2024 at the Police Gymkhana ground, Marine Drive, Mumbai. This day-night tournament  featured eight competitive teams representing BKP, Raghav Group, Rustomjee, Hubtown, Narang Realty, Dosti Realty, Raymond Realty, and Lalani Group.

A Cause Close to Our Hearts

The MPL is not just about cricket; it’s about giving back to the community. The tournament’s primary goal is to sponsor the education and well-being of children of construction workers. As CREDAI-MCHI President Mr. Domnic Romell aptly expressed, “MPL is represented by various developers who are taking part in it with great enthusiasm, looking forward to your participation to sponsor the children of construction workers to brighten their future and put smiles on their faces.”

Sports Convener Mr. Shailesh Sanghvi added, “After a decade-long journey, MPL is excited to announce its international expansion. It’s been an incredible ride since MPL7 when the idea first sparked and now it’s finally happening. The excitement is contagious as teams gear up for the finals. We are happy for our construction workers’ kids that the fraternity has done good contribution towards sponsoring kids for the CSR Tournament.”
