Meeting with Smt. Jayshree Bhoj (IAS), Environment Secretary

On June 2, 2025, a CREDAI-MCHI delegation led by President Shri Domnic Romell and Secretary Shri Dhaval Ajmera met with the Hon. Secretary, Environment, Smt. Jayshree Bhoj (I.A.S.) to discuss two key issues:

  • The formation of the MCZMA Committee, and
  • Projects stalled due to the NGT Bhopal Order.

During the meeting, Hon. Secretary Bhoj assured the delegation that the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF) would expedite hearings once the legal proceedings in the Hon’ble Supreme Court are concluded. She further affirmed that the State MoEF will adhere to the final directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Regarding the MCZMA Committee, she assured the delegation of a speedy resolution under the guidance of Hon. Minister for MoEF, Smt. Pankaja Munde.

  • Biometric Digitization:Full biometric digitization of Annexure 2 to be completed by December 2025.
  • Biometric Verification:Biometric verification for SRA annexures to be carried out prior to development, in accordance with a density norm of 650.
