Meeting with Shri Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President MHADA on December 19, 2025
A meeting was conducted with Shri Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President, MHADA, wherein a joint meeting with all associations was proposed. It is expected that a joint meeting will be scheduled post January to discuss various MHADA-related issues and work towards their resolution.

A joint meeting was held with the Collectors of Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban at the Collector’s Office. The issue of royalty was discussed and acknowledged by the authorities, who assured that SOPs are being prepared and the matter will be resolved soon. It was also proposed that royalty should remain valid for the entire project period, which was viewed positively.
The Association also raised concerns about delays in amalgamation and subdivision approvals and suggested a single BMC survey for all related purposes. This idea was received positively, and a Steering Committee has been formed at the Collectorate to take these matters forward.
Meeting with Smt. Jayashree S. Bhoj (I.A.S), Secretary, Environment
A meeting was held with Smt. Jayashree S. Bhoj (I.A.S.), Secretary, Environment, to discuss certain violation-related matters. The issues were explained to Madam, and she advised that it would be best to follow up with the Central Government for clear guidelines in line with the Supreme Court judgment.
We also informed her about the difficulties being faced at MPCB and the increase in associated costs. Madam acknowledged that she is aware of these issues and assured that the situation is expected to improve after the elections.
